Episode Overview
Joan Rivers approaches Sean and Christian with a request to reverse all her plastic surgeries, hoping to set an example for her grandson Cooper about embracing imperfection. However, after seeing her potential appearance post-surgeries, she changes her mind and asks the doctors to schedule a facelift for the next day instead. Meanwhile, Matt is worried about Ava, who appears to be struggling with depression. He proposes they escape to Paris and start anew, and after some persuasion, she agrees. While attempting to steal drugs for their trip from McNamara-Troy, Matt is caught by Christian, who becomes upset upon learning about Paris. Christian then confronts Ava, trying to make a point through intimacy, only to discover she is a transsexual. Julia, Sean, and Christian spend the night researching and ultimately trace their journey to a Gender Reassignment center in Maryland.
