Episode Overview

Agatha Ripp arrives at McNamara/Troy, confessing to Sean and Christian that she faked having stigmata to gain acceptance from the church, admitting she actually harmed herself. Despite this revelation, the townspeople flock to her, seeking blessings and renewed faith. When mysterious "stigmata" appear on her legs, the doctors discover through a blood test that it isn’t her blood. Meanwhile, Julia deals with shingles, which Sean believes stems from her guilt over the Matt-Ava situation. She drops a bombshell on Sean, revealing he is not Matt's biological father. In a fit of rage, Sean lashes out at Julia and later attacks Christian in the office. He confronts Agatha, who discloses that her injuries were staged with help from a church sister who used her blood to maintain their program. In another storyline, Liz shares her pregnancy news but distances herself from Christian, who wishes to be involved. She begins to panic over spotting and bruising
