Fast forward to 2006, when a cold case detective, alongside a producer working on "Cold Case Files," began to piece together clues about the long-unsolved murder of Deborah Sheppard, a student from Southern Illinois University who had been killed in 1982, unwittingly moving closer to unraveling this chilling mystery.
