Episode Overview

Askeladd successfully navigates the river and flees from Thorkell into Wales alongside Canute. However, his group soon finds themselves caught in an ambush by soldiers concealed behind boulders at the Brycheiniog border. In an effort to resolve the situation, Askeladd engages with the enemy's messenger, disclosing his strategy in the process.
