Girlfriends (2000)

Episode Overview

Toni and Maya find themselves in a heated dispute right before their night out, primarily because Toni doubts Maya's ability to secure entry into an exclusive club. After failing to get in herself, Maya arrives and effortlessly gains access for Joan, Lynn, and William. Convincing Maya to also help Toni, Joan urges her to include her friend. As the doorman gestures toward Toni, another woman misinterprets the signal, leading to a confrontation. Joan attempts to mediate, but chaos ensues, resulting in a brawl. While Maya and Lynn join the fray, Toni feels let down by Joan's lack of support, prompting her to reevaluate their friendship. Joan then seeks a way to mend the rift.
