Episode Overview

Maya forms a bond with another single mom, who works as a janitor in the same law firm building. Their friendship blossoms, but Joan grows annoyed by the new mother's demeanor and worries it could jeopardize Maya's romance with Darnell. In a separate storyline, William fakes a job at Lynn's office, longing for the social interactions of a workplace. Meanwhile, Lynn devises a scheme to trick her colleagues into giving her money by claiming it's her birthday.
