As the wedding day draws near, Joan vows to be there for Toni but continually prioritizes her own chaos with Ellis, who has kept secret that his child's mother will star as his love interest in an upcoming film. Feeling neglected, Toni tells Joan she is no longer invited to the ceremony. Concurrently, Sivad grows insecure about Lynn's history with William and demands that she leave his home. Meanwhile, Mrs. Childs is determined to keep Maya from getting involved with Toni's brother, Antoine, who is studying medicine.
