Episode Overview
Steve and Amy delve into a family's claims of paranormal activity in their Southern New Jersey home, believed to be haunted by a malevolent spirit. Steve uncovers historical records indicating that in the late 1800s, a nearby establishment masquerading as a health spa was actually a sanatorium run by a mad doctor, Dr. Smith, who claimed to have discovered the secret to eternal youth. He also learns of Louis Roesch, a German immigrant from the 1860s, who faced betrayal by his community due to the lack of civilization. Meanwhile, Amy encounters a terrifying shadow figure in the basement, which poses a threat to her safety. She also communicates with the home's former owner, Louis Brunk, and two of the Roesch family’s six children.
