Title: A Season of Gratitude Plot: The Bates family travels to South Carolina to celebrate their cherished Thanksgiving tradition with Papa Bill and Mama Jane, joined by Carlin and Josie’s boyfriends. With Carlin and Evan now officially a couple, will Josie and Kelton find the courage to seek Gil and Kelly Jo’s blessing to begin courting during their visit? Meanwhile, Papa Bill enlists the young men to assist in barn construction, while Mama Jane recruits Kelly Jo, Alyssa, Whitney, Carlin, and the children to gather pecans and whip up brownies. Thanksgiving culminates in a heartfelt dinner where the family gathers to express their gratitude.
