Title: Rumpole's Final Case Plot: The Timson family finds themselves in yet another predicament, prompting them to seek help from their beloved barrister. As Rumpole delves into the tangled web surrounding a failed robbery and the mystery of the gun's owner, he begins to feel an unexpected fatigue with the legal battles. After placing a bet with his bookie on a promising four-horse accumulator, Rumpole decides it's time to retire his wig for good, but not before delivering some candid remarks to his longtime rival, Mr. Justice 'Mad Bull' Bullingham.
