Episode Overview
Nodoka’s visit is brief, and Ranma learns she intends to head back home soon. Eager for her to see him as his true self instead of as Ranko, he decides to act. Genma cautions him at every turn, trying to dissuade him. When a water main bursts, it sends Nodoka tumbling, and Ranma heroically rescues her, giving her a fleeting glimpse of his real form before she loses consciousness. Upon waking, she encounters Ranko and believes it was merely a dream. Nodoka mentions that in her dream, Ranma appeared quite masculine. Ranma confides to Akane that he wants to reveal his true identity once the time is right. In the end, as they head to school, Ranma and Akane turn to the audience and say, "Goodbye!"
