Episode Overview

The pilgrims arrive in a realm where darkness is absent. For five centuries, following the theft of Dainichi Buddha's sun-mirror by the vulture demon Konsei-Maoh, one sun immediately replaces another at dusk. Tripitaka proposes assistance to the local villagers, and Monkey, eager to confront the demon from his past, eagerly agrees. However, the situation deteriorates when Monkey encounters a recognizable figure, prompting the demon to target Tripitaka.
