Episode Overview

Following the unexpected and heartbreaking death of her husband, Deb resolves to support her daughter Sarah and son-in-law Matt in purchasing a home that includes an income property to set them up for success. Deb plans to move into the suite temporarily while she finds her footing, after which Sarah and Matt will rent it out. Together, Scott joins the family as they explore a newly constructed home, a cozy bungalow, and a two-story house with possibilities for student rentals.
