Episode Overview

Set in 65.5 million BC, just moments before midnight for the dinosaurs, the landscape is besieged by rampant volcanic eruptions, suffocating the environment. As toxic fumes fill the air, dinosaur populations dwindle, with few eggs successfully hatching. Meanwhile, mammals are beginning to flourish. The once-dominant pterosaurs have nearly vanished, giving way to emerging bird species. Unbeknownst to the inhabitants of this ancient world, a colossal asteroid hurtles toward Earth, signaling the end of an era. Amidst this turmoil, the fearsome Tyrannosaurus reigns as the ultimate predator, navigating the chaos of a dying world.
