Dog faces a personal dilemma as he searches for his close friend, Ili. In past adventures, Ili has assisted him in capturing fugitives, but now she’s in trouble herself, accused of setting her house ablaze after a heated argument with her husband. After Dog posted her bail, she didn’t show up for her court date, placing her squarely on the wrong side of the law.
