Tatsuya and his fellow Student Council members were overwhelmed with the unexpected developments surrounding the Nine Schools Competition. Just then, Tatsuya receives a mysterious email from an unknown source. The message reveals that the recent changes in the competition stemmed from pressure exerted by the JDF and that the Kudou Family intends to exploit this situation to test a covertly developed military weapon during the Steeplechase Cross-country Event. This revelation drives Tatsuya to travel to Nara, the home base of the Kudou Family, in search of more information about their experiments.
