Moesha (1996)

Episode Overview

Moesha secures a gig as a tutor for student athletes and is paired with Ray Meadows, a talented NBA hopeful. Faced with the task of writing an English paper, Ray requests Moesha's help, citing his busy schedule filled with practices and play studies. Initially, she agrees, viewing him as a friend. However, when Dorian spots her working on Ray's assignment, he jokes about how he exploits similar tactics with girls at his school. This prompts Moesha to rethink her decision, leading her to inform Ray that she can’t complete the paper for him. Disheartened, Ray declares their friendship pointless if he can't gain anything from it.
