Episode Overview

Carlos Serrano, a Senior Researcher at NorBAC, is desperate to aid his friend suffering from AIDS by enrolling him in pioneering research. He persuades David to assist in obtaining illegal stem cells from a lab in Houston, aiming to make his friend the inaugural test subject for an innovative gene therapy. However, when another child tragically passes away, David becomes resolute in uncovering the reasons behind the failure of the cancer treatment, prompting a deeper investigation into the ethical implications of their actions.
