Meanwhile, Tony and Ros's plan to ambush Barata and Gusti goes awry when they are thwarted by a group of Tuyul. The Demit realm descends further into turmoil as The Gift approaches, prompting Demit to brazenly attack humans. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Juragan seeks out Sarah, persuading her to join him with an enticing offer that’s hard to refuse.
