The Lucy Show (1962)

Episode Overview

Lucy is swamped with work, juggling her neglected tasks and selling tickets for a bank benefit. Mary Jane warns her that she might have a nervous breakdown if she doesn't slow down, but Lucy dismisses the concern. Later, she walks into Mr. Mooney's office and is shocked to find a monkey, part of the benefit show, sitting at his desk. Convinced she’s imagining things, she heads to the psychiatrist, who advises her to confront her fears. During her next meeting with the monkey, she treats it like Mooney, leading to a hilarious mix-up as both Mooney and the monkey come and go at the same time.
