Laura and Jamie are finding it tough to handle the daily demands of their newborn, and the last thing they want is the added stress of a family gathering. With the Christening approaching, they're far from prepared. Meanwhile, Keith, pushed by Sandra, takes on a temporary job at the toy store to help cover the expenses, only to be shocked when he realizes his boss is his own son. Alan is still healing from his head injury, while Janet secretly considers returning to work without discussing it with him. As relatives arrive and create tension with their bickering and criticism, Jamie and Laura feel overwhelmed, especially since they haven't even settled on a name yet.
