With Dave away, Miss Miller takes care of the boys and they decide to watch a movie featuring menacing space squids invading Earth. Unfortunately, while they're together, Miss Miller inadvertently breaks Simon's glasses. That night, as they peer through a telescope, Simon becomes convinced he spots the very killer squids approaching Earth, reminiscent of the film they just watched.
