Combat! (1962)

Episode Overview

As the soldiers take shelter from the rain on a quiet night, Sgt. Saunders reminisces about D-Day and the unforgettable moments shared with his comrades. He recounts stories about Braddock, who correctly predicted the invasion date in a platoon pool; Doc Walton, who was hesitant to face combat; and Caje, affectionately referred to as "Caddie," joined by another Cajun. At that time, Lt. Hanley was still a sergeant, with far less combat experience than Saunders. After landing, the group pushes inland, only to encounter a farm occupied by a squad of German troops.
