Episode Overview
A thirteen-year-old boy from France is eager to join the squad but learns he’s not allowed. Undeterred, he decides to trail them. After Lt. Hanley is injured, Caje informs the boy that he’s officially part of the team, tasked with ensuring the lieutenant returns to town safely. Once they arrive, Hanley and the boy uncover a German ambush waiting for the Americans. Hanley then assigns the boy to locate Saunders and the rest of the men, instructing him to relay the information about the Germans so Saunders can inform HQ.
