Episode Overview

Capt. Cole (James Daily) is finally reunited with his son Jack (James MacArthur) after many years apart. Now a reporter, Jack has been sent to the front lines to cover the war. Their squad's mission involves assisting the Captain in locating the ideal site for a pontoon bridge. During their journey, they encounter German forces at a farmhouse, but both father and son manage to maintain their composure. In the end, Jack secures his story, and this poignant reunion allows them to reconnect as father and son once more.
