Earl discovers that rectifying his past misdeeds towards women positively influences Billie's demeanor. Determined to atone, he decides to tackle the most egregious act from his list. However, Billie demands he choose between her and his quest for redemption. When he opts for the list, she retaliates by snatching it away and begins to reverse the progress he has made on the items he had already completed.
