Episode Overview

In 327 BC, Alexander the Great embarks on his last campaign, taking on the forces of India. As he advances, he encounters one of the toughest tactical obstacles a commander can face: a swift river crossing, a fierce thunderstorm, and a relentless enemy. Cleverly, Alexander tricks the Indian General Porus into thinking they won’t attempt the crossing. Under the cover of night, he skillfully moves his infantry across the river, catching the Indian legions off guard. This masterful strategy paves the way for a decisive victory.
