Episode Overview
Kicking off the series with a bang, the first episode puts the teams to the test by challenging them to shatter one of Scrapheap's oldest records. In series six, The Catalysts achieved an impressive top speed of 72mph during the Grand Prix Challenge. Now, The Rocketeers, a group of pyrotechnics experts from Bath, and The Brum Brums, skilled motor mechanics from Birmingham, must strive to surpass that record in a high-speed scrap challenge. Set against the backdrop of Pendine Sands, the legendary site for British land speed records, the teams face close scrutiny as they aim to etch their names in Scrapheap history, with two-time land speed record-holder Richard Noble serving as this week's judge.
