Episode Overview

Jake starts to feel diminished by his blindness after a shocking incident where he inadvertently helps a thief escape with cash from Chris's diner. He even holds the door open for the crook, deepening his sense of inadequacy. Despite Chris and John's efforts to uplift him, Jake's mood worsens. To distract him, John takes Jake to a hockey game, hoping it will lift his spirits. However, during the game, Jake thinks he recognizes the robber's voice and urges John to make a citizen's arrest, reigniting his determination to reclaim a sense of agency.
