Mary delights in salmon fishing along the family’s private stretch of the River Tay and participates in Highland deer stalking alongside William, the future Earl of Mansfield, and the estate's long-time gamekeeper. Drawing inspiration from the palace's royal legacy, Mary crafts classic Scottish dishes in the estate kitchen, such as venison wellington, cock-a-leekie soup, and cranachan.
