Episode Overview

The six chefs left in the competition are welcomed by Alton, who enthusiastically kicks off his second Chairman’s Challenge. Each chef must creatively elevate their chosen ingredients into a dish fit for Iron Chef status, determined by a random draw for ingredient selection. After tasting the dishes, Alton sends the chef with the least impressive dish to a tropical Secret Ingredient Showdown against a competitor selected by the winner. Judges Anne Burrell and Iron Chef Jose Garces then eliminate one chef, leaving five contestants poised to advance toward the Gauntlet.
