Episode Overview

The competition begins with Alton Brown's Chairman's Challenge, pushing the seven chefs to demonstrate their creativity by preparing a single protein in multiple innovative ways. As one chef takes bold risks while another plays it too safe, the outcome leads one of them to the bottom. Tensions rise when two chefs battle it out in a tense first Secret Ingredient Showdown, where judges Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian and Ching-He Huang ultimately decide to send one chef home.
