As the Alaskan king crab season hits the 42-hour mark, the captains are feeling the weight of the clock ticking down, especially with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game announcing an early end to the season. Each vessel has just 24 hours to retrieve their pots, and every single pot is crucial. The fishermen face a pivotal day: either they catch crab or risk losing a profitable season that could impact their families for the entire year. Each boat encounters its own set of hurdles: one captain, anxious about his fishing spot, opts to try a new area, while another deals with an injured crew member. Meanwhile, some boats still struggle to find any crab despite relentless efforts from their teams.
