Episode Overview

Fran invites her father to a basketball game, but he declines because he disapproves of the tickets being from Mr. Sheffield. Perplexed, Fran seeks guidance from Dr. Miller, who suggests that she tends to gravitate towards men like her father, who maintain emotional distance. Determined to make a change, Fran attempts to alter Mr. Sheffield's demeanor but ultimately decides to resign to transform herself. In a bid to keep her from leaving, Maxwell refers to her as Fran. They agree to keep their budding relationship discreet for now, marking the beginning of their journey toward commitment.
