Ed forms a friendship with the daughter of the judge overseeing his current case, but their bond quickly turns serious when she approaches him, terrified for her father's safety. Initially, it appears she may be overreacting to a string of mishaps. However, as events unfold, her concerns seem increasingly justified, especially when it’s revealed that the judge's new wife has ties to the Underworld that she believed were long buried.
