Episode Overview

As Lucrezia takes charge of the Vatican, Rodrigo Borgia retreats to escape his feelings for Julia and her longing for her daughter, now wed to Alfonso di Calabria. Yet, even in isolation, he finds it difficult to suppress his emotions. Meanwhile, Lucrezia, now a wise and moderate regent, contrasts sharply with her brother Cesare, who remains embroiled in the conflict in Romagna. Cesare hopes to leverage a stroke of luck to overcome Catarina and vanquish the foes threatening the Borgia name.
