Episode Overview

Late one night, Bertel Kjeldsen reaches out to Dahl, claiming he has murdered his wife and urges her to come to Fredensborg. Meanwhile, the case of Britt Hjort Jespersen resurfaces due to an unsatisfactory autopsy report. A new examination reveals DNA from another man. As Dahl searches for Kjeldsen, she finds him on the ledge of a tall building. He confesses to killing his wife and reveals that his son, Knud Kjeldsen, is responsible for Jespersen's death. Dahl arrests Knud, who lies during interrogation, but evidence points to Knud's mentally challenged brother, Robin Hansen, as the real killer. Knud had attempted to protect Robin to shield their family from shame.
