Episode Overview

Just before Christmas, plumber John Horner is apprehended and accused of stealing the renowned Blue Carbuncle jewel belonging to Lady Morcar. Although he maintains his innocence, his criminal background and the evidence stacked against him leave little room for doubt. Sherlock Holmes’s doorman discovers the jewel hidden inside a Christmas goose, prompting Holmes to use an old hat to trace the goose back to a poultry vendor. Ultimately, he uncovers the true culprit, a servant who orchestrated the theft and framed Horner. The jewel carries a murky past, highlighted in the show's opening sequence.
