The Great American Baking Show (2015)
S02E07 Patisserie Week
Episode Overview
In the semi-finals, tension runs high as the bakers tackle three challenging French pastry tasks, all vying for a spot in the final round. The Signature Challenge requires them to bake two dozen intricate Petit Four glacé mini cakes, where precision is key and the small size adds to the complexity. Next, the Technical challenge surprises everyone when Johnny introduces the French Cruller donut, demanding the bakers to finesse both their dough and deep-frying skills. Finally, in the Showstopper, they must create a Mille-Feuille, or Napoleon, with delicate layers of flaky puff pastry and distinctive fillings, but time will be a critical factor, leading to one competitor's downfall.
