Colleen Orsborn vanishes after taking a day off from school to hit the beach. Though the spirited and outspoken teen often clashes with her mother, she typically leaves a note about her whereabouts and always comes back home. When Colleen doesn’t return, her family and friends grow increasingly anxious, fearing the worst. Their concerns deepen when it’s revealed that the infamous serial killer Christopher Wilder was in Daytona Beach on the same day she disappeared. Colleen’s case becomes a haunting enigma in Central Florida for decades, until one woman discovers a long-hidden clue that had been overlooked for nearly thirty years.
