Dottie receives a startling call from a former bail jumper, revealing that a woman in Las Vegas claims to be Ralph Thorson's legal wife, simultaneously married to him while Dottie was. When the Thorsons head to Las Vegas to confront this woman, she presents a convincing case. Although Dottie is skeptical, she can't shake the unsettling thought that Ralph may have been living a double life. Just as Dottie prepares to question the second Mrs. Thorson again, the woman is found dead, and Dottie becomes the prime suspect in her murder.
