Nora Batty receives a postcard from a Gladwin vacationing in the Canary Islands, igniting jealousy in Compo, who is desperate to win her affection back. His first attempt at singing ends poorly when he gets splashed with water. Next, he discovers an airman uniform at Auntie Wainwright's shop and decides to try skydiving, which goes horribly wrong. Meanwhile, Howard ropes Truly into another plan to mislead Pearl about his outdoor escapades, asking him to pose as his security advisor. Additionally, Wesley unveils a new invention and enlists Barry to be the guinea pig for his latest creation.
