Howard grows wary when Pearl unexpectedly transforms into a glamorous and cheerful version of herself. His worry leads him to send Compo to inform Marina that he can’t make their meeting, and he enlists Clegg, Truly, and Wesley to tail Pearl in hopes of uncovering her secret. Meanwhile, Barry disappears after heading out for a jog. Glenda enlists Edie, Ivy, and Nora to aid in his search, unaware that Auntie Wainwright has enlisted Barry to help her and Smiler gather some furniture.
