Episode Overview

Auntie Wainwright steps away from the shop for a brief half hour, leaving Smiler in charge. He grows increasingly frustrated as she calls him every five minutes, eager to return to work. Meanwhile, Pearl believes Howard is too energetic and decides to prepare him a hefty dinner to calm him down, but it doesn’t deter him from meeting Marina. Barry, wanting to appear more like an "executive type," purchases a new suit despite Glenda's disapproval. When he shows it off with Tom and the trio around town, everyone mistakenly thinks he’s attending a funeral. After scolding him, Glenda feels guilty and enlists Wesley and Edie to help find him. Meanwhile, Petal and Tom start their Ace Carpeting business, but their van is in terrible condition, so they turn to Wesley for repairs.
