In the gripping season finale, escalating racial tensions ignite a significant riot in North Philly, while an oblivious Meg (Brittany Snow) focuses on her sweet sixteen birthday preparations. Unaware of the turmoil surrounding her, Meg seeks to mend her friendship with Sam (Arlen Escarpeta) by visiting his new store, only to find herself caught in the midst of the chaos. Meanwhile, Nathan (guest star Keith Robinson) stirs up the crowd, pushing the rioters forward, as Pete (guest star Matthew John Armstrong) and the Philadelphia police struggle to restore order. Elsewhere, a disheartened JJ (Will Estes) returns from being cut from the football team with unexpected news for Jack (Tom Verica) and Helen (Gail O'Grady), while Michael Brooks (Joe Lawrence) considers a tempting record-producing opportunity in California. R&B star Kelly Rowland adds to the drama.
