Meanwhile, Patty becomes fixated on winning the Campbell's Tomato Soup essay contest, enlisting Donald's help, which makes Helen uneasy. Sam's basketball recruitment at Penn raises concerns for Henry but introduces him to a new girlfriend, his tutor.
