Episode Overview
Following Shepard's intense journey into space, he finds himself feeling unfulfilled and uneasy. Taking Glenn’s counsel to heart, he tries to channel his ambition into appreciation for his family. Although Shepard's marriage holds together, Gordo and Trudy's relationship seems to be on the brink of collapse. At the same time, JFK's bold announcement urging NASA to land a man on the moon reawakens Glenn’s competitive spirit, fueling his desire to surpass Shepard.
