Episode Overview
As Charlie Hench approaches his 50th birthday, he embarks on an ambitious solo hike through the Sierra Nevada Mountains to achieve a lifelong dream. However, he quickly realizes the journey is far tougher than anticipated. At 9,000 feet, a sudden snowstorm catches him off guard, leaving the inexperienced hiker disoriented in the white wilderness. A misstep on the perilous boulders sends him tumbling down the mountain, where he narrowly lands on a small ledge that prevents a 500-foot plunge. Injured with a broken wrist and a fractured spine, Charlie finds himself isolated and aware that it could take days for anyone to discover he's missing. Will he manage to survive while stranded on the cliff's edge?
