President Martinez, infuriated by recent lapses in security, confronts Director of National Intelligence, Blake Sterling, demanding accountability. Unsatisfied with the response, Martinez takes matters into his own hands by interrogating Michael Buchanan regarding his suspected role in the assassination attempt. Despite his insistence on innocence, Michael inadvertently discloses compromising information about a member of the President's inner circle. Meanwhile, Dempsey sends Vicky on a secret mission, while Sean and Leila race against time to evade covert operatives determined to silence them and their dangerous knowledge.
