Episode Overview
The moment has arrived for the magnificent Titanic to embark on its journey to the New World. Morgan envisions this maiden voyage as a major promotional event. Sofia’s friend, Joanna Yaeger, secures her a role as an illustrator at the New York Times. Pietro spends nearly all his savings to buy her a ticket. By a stroke of luck, Mark manages to board as well. Among the passengers are Jack Lowry, a young riveter familiar to us, and Violetta, returning to marry Michael MacCann, who is with her and their baby. Joanna and the celebrated actress Kitty are also on board. Additionally, a young girl named Sarah and her mother are traveling in Third Class, unbeknownst to Mark. As the Titanic sails toward New York, Mark and Sofia seek happiness and reconciliation, leaving us to ponder who among them will endure the impending catastrophe.
